February 25, 2015, the Central Asia train (Lianyungang to Almaty) full with containers is pulling out of the special rail lines of China-Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) Logistic Base.
The Central Asia train (Lianyungang to Almaty) is estimated to arrive at Almaty of Kazakhstan 12 days later.
The opening of the Central Asia train lays the solid foundation of constructing the silk-road economic belt starting from Lianyungang and establishing the bidirectional opening bridge of east and west. It supplies a new development chance for Lianyungang to take its traffic location advantages and enhance the commercial and logistic development between China eastern coast and Central Asia along the land bridge.
